This project was built for a busy retail and supermarket owner who wanted complete control over their store's daily sales. They needed a simple, fast computer program to ring up customers quickly and track every single item on the shelves. Their ultimate goal was to stop losing money to expired products and bad math. They also wanted a highly secure way to manage the software on all their different checkout computers from one place.

The store was losing thousands of dollars every month because products were expiring on the shelves before anyone noticed. Long, slow checkout lines were making customers angry, causing them to leave their carts and shop somewhere else. Managing supplier orders and tracking daily profits by hand was a stressful nightmare that took the owner hours every single night. Without a clear picture of what was selling, cash was constantly trapped in "dead stock" that nobody wanted to buy.

We built a lightning-fast "Desktop Cashier" that works perfectly on their Windows computers to scan barcodes in less than a second. We added a "Smart Stock Tracker" that automatically watches batch numbers and warns the manager before items expire, saving perfectly good products from the trash. To make the owner's life easier, we included a one-click system to import thousands of new items instantly. Finally, we created a secure web portal so the boss can lock, unlock, and manage all their store computers from anywhere in the world.
